Welcome to the RMC Research & Education Foundation Website

We have revamped our site to organize our information and deliverables more concisely. You may now find materials grouped into three distinct tracks:

Environment, Health & Safety Track

Concrete Applications: Quality & Performance Track

Industry Education & Training Track

An overview of information regarding projects may still be found on our Projects page.

Are you looking for a speaker for your next state association or company meeting? Foundation personnel are available to provide your group with an update on the tools and resources available from the RMC Research & Education Foundation as well as on research currently underway. The Foundation can also provide a PowerPoint for those wishing to make the presentation personally. Please contact Foundation Executive Director Julie Garbini for more information.

The RMC Research & Education Foundation marks the June 1st start of this year's hurricane season by reminding interested parties of the availability of our study Coast in the Eye of the Storm - Hurricane Katrina: August 29, 2005. Conducted by Mississippi State University's Civil Engineering Department and cosponsored by the Mississippi Concrete Industries Association, the report includes a forensic evaluation of how different building systems withstood high winds, projectile damage, storm surge and flooding from Hurricane Katrina. The study is too large to make available for download. However, to receive a hardcopy or electronic copy on CD, please contact Jennifer LeFevre.
