ProjectsOne of the goals of the RMC Research & Education Foundation is to build our endowment to $20 million which, in turn, will provide approximately $1 million annually in project funding in perpetuity. The mission of the RMC Research & Education Foundation is to support research and educational programs that will help advance and improve the concrete industry. Why support research? If we didn’t research our product, how would we ever learn anything new or improve it? Research projects supported by the RMC Research & Education Foundation help not only to make advancements in the applications and uses of concrete, but also help the industry strive to meet better environmental standards and help to strengthen the health and safety of our industry’s personnel. Why support educational programs? For any industry to grow, there needs to be a constant influx of fresh ideas and dynamic people who can help move the industry forward. The educational programs funded by the RMC Research & Education Foundation help the concrete industry stay on the cutting edge by supporting programs and certifications that improve the knowledge base of the industry’s professionals. Projects have been broken up into three tracks and information about deliverables within each of those tracks may be found on their respective pages:Environment, Health & Safety Track
